Top Hat Brewery…
…is back. Our kickoff brew is a Black Butte Porter clone. We started the brew yesterday, and this morning fermentation is in full swing. It’s fermenting in my coat closet. Here, have a look:
As you can see, “Top Hat” is a pretty classy brewery. We should be able to rack in about a week, and hopefully will be bottling in three or four.
two questions:
1) will the stuff be ready by 3.17?
b) does your state still have an embargo on my state?
two answers:
1) hopefully… it’lll probably be a little flat, but mostly drinkable. But come on now, we all know that St. Patrick’s Day is for Guiness!
b) (b? really? after “1″?) I’m not permitted to sell home brewed beer. To anyone. How dumb is that? However, a little loophole: I am allowed to GIVE it away. I’ll bring a few bottles down to you and RichRad.

Corine has a black butte too (although I’m pretty sure she doesn’t give it away).
Is her black butte registered with the ATF? I hear they like to test black buttes randomly…
…leave it to the government to interfere with a man’s love of black butte.
